OUR START

The West Coast Reformed Fellowship leadership team consists of about a dozen single, engaged, and married young adults from Central California ranging from late teens to mid-thirties in age. In November of 2016, we began to pray about ways to connect with other Reformed and Presbyterian young adults in our region. A few months later, WCRF was established and plans for an annual retreat began to take shape.

Our REACH

Instead of focusing solely on Central California, we have broadened our reach to include the entire West Coast (and beyond). We determined that hosting an annual retreat would not only bring together like-minded young adults, but also encourage attendees to meet together regionally a few times each year. As they plan regional events, WCRF can be asked to promote these events.

Our goal

WCRF prays that God will use our annual retreat to bring young adults together to be encouraged and refreshed spiritually and relationally. We desire to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as we listen to and apply God's word to our lives. We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ will be strengthened as members of faithfully reformed congregations come together to challenge and encourage our generation to live for God's glory.

Our name

West Coast Reformed Fellowship: Events for Young Adults aptly captures our intended audience, general location, primary purpose, and theological perspective. While our events will be centered upon the Word of God from a theologically reformed perspective, our primary work is to create and promote events where young adults can enjoy Christian fellowship and spiritual nourishment. As groups meet together regionally, we expect that they will do so in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in a manner that brings God glory.

Our Support

WCRF is run by volunteers from Trinity United Reformed Church in Visalia, CA. We are grateful to the Trinity Council and the congregation for their support and encouragement. It is our prayer at Trinity that the West Coast Reformed Fellowship retreats and activities will be a blessing to many young adults for years to come.
